Updating the payslip report to include new features

Check all changes in a test environment before taking them live. Make sure all related features still work as expected and that your data is unaffected.

In MYOB Advanced 2023.1.3, we introduced the ability to add messages to payslips. This updated the core payslip report.

If your clients are using the core payslip report, they can take advantage of the payslip messages feature straight after upgrading to 2023.1.3.

But if your clients are using a customised payslip report instead of the core one, you need to update the report as well as upgrade them to 2023.1.3. The way you update the report depends on how it was customised.

If you published a reporting customisation to the client’s site

If your client is using MYOB’s own report customisation, we’ve created a 2023.1.3 version of the customisation that you can re-publish to their site. The new version is available on the Partner self-service portal.

If your client has a report customisation provided by you or a third party, you either need to update the customisation yourself or have the third party update it.

If the Employee Payslip file has been customised directly

You need to deactivate the versions that have been applied on top of the base version.
