Setting up two-factor authentication as a new user

This article outlines the steps for new users to log into PayGlobal Online. The instructions may vary slightly depending on the browser you use, the browser settings and whether you use an Android or iPhone.

Step 1: Set your new PayGlobal Online password

Once you receive the “Your PayGlobal Online account is ready!“ email with the Password Reset Link, follow these instructions to set a password:

Please come back to this page and continue at step 2 below, once you have set a new password.

Step 2: Login and setup Duo Mobile authentication

Login with new password to set up two-factor authentication.

Note: The preferred method is Duo Push/Passcode. Please only setup the phone call if your phone does not support Duo Mobile phone app. Some phones support Duo Mobile after a system upgrade.

Note 2: When prompted to enable notifications on the Duo Mobile phone, please allow this.

  1. Log in to the PayGlobal Online Access Portal.
    IMPORTANT: do not close or press Back until you have completed the steps below.

  2. A Welcome to Duo Security message appears. Click Get Started.

  3. Select Duo Mobile (Recommended).

  4. Change country (it defaults to USA) and enter your mobile phone number. Click Continue.

  5. Check your phone number is correct and click Yes, it’s correct. Or click No, I need to change it if it is wrong.

  6. If you haven’t already, download and install the Duo Mobile phone app and then click Next.

  7. Open Duo Mobile phone app and follow the prompts to scan the QR code.
    If you previously used Duo Mobile, tap the “+” button to scan the barcode.
    You might need to move the phone closer or further to successfully scan the code.

  8. Change the account name so you can easily see this is for MYOB PayGlobal Online E.g. PGOnline.

  9. A message appears on your computer advising Added Duo Mobile. Click Continue.

  10. You are prompted to Add another device. For now, click I don’t want to add more devices.

  11. A message appears - Setup completed! Click Log in with Duo.

  12. Approve the prompt on the Duo Mobile phone app.

  13. Click Yes, this is my device on.

  14. All done. See next section for further instructions.

Step 3: Logging in with Duo

First approval

The first Duo Mobile approval occurs when you log into the PayGlobal Online Access Portal with your preferred browser.
Enter your credentials and approve the login from your phone to proceed to the second approval below.

Second approval

Click ‘PayGlobal Online’ to download the remote desktop application (RDP).

Note: the screenshots below are for Chrome browser and may look different for Edge browser.

At the Windows Security prompt, enter the same credentials you used to login to the PayGlobal Online Access Portal (see above).

You will receive another Duo Mobile prompt to approve on your phone when Show Details lights up.

Once approved from your phone, you will be presented with the database selection drop-down. Select the database to log into (i.e. Live or Test).

Step 4: Database (final) login

Your company PayGlobal administrator (Supervisor) can provide you your PayGlobal application Login ID/Password.
