Public holiday groups
Large organisations may find that they have employees spread geographically with different Public Holiday entitlements. For example, an organization with branches in two different cities will need to grant different Public Holidays to the employees in each branch.
Use the Holiday Groups entity to select a list of public holidays into a group. You can specify Holidays in more than one Holiday Group. For example, Christmas Day can appear in every separate Holiday Group, whereas:
- In New Zealand, the Auckland Anniversary Day would appear only in the Auckland Holiday Group.
- In Australia, the March Labour Day would appear only in the Victorian Holiday Group.
