SFTP firewall infrastructure changes in August 2024
These changes are for the SFTP server firewall and do not affect PayGlobal users. For information about about accessing PayGlobal, please see PayGlobal Online - IP Address Whitelisting
What changed?
To continue our focus on improving the security of PayGlobal Online, the Platform made changes to firewall infrastructure throughout August 2024. Replacing existing firewall infrastructure with a modern managed firewall service from AWS.
What customers need to do?
The IP address of our FTP server changed. If your organisation has implemented IP whitelisting for outbound connections you will need to ensure the below changes are made. Payroll users should contact their internal IT teams and provide details of these changes so that they can check if there are changes required on your side.
Current (old) IP address: 54.153.226.176
Recommended change:
New SFTP server connection is to ftp.myobpayglobal.com. Whitelist this web address instead of IP address.
These change will not impact customers who have already whitelisted the above-mentioned ftp web address.
If you must use an IP address, add the following new IP addresses to your whitelist:
54.79.188.118
13.239.152.177
52.65.205.230
There are multiple addresses going forward as the infrastructure changes include a Network Load Balancer.
The above changes will need to be made for anything that you have configured that manages outbound connections to the SFTP server; this includes direct access from a web browser, as well as any third-party vendor integrations you might have.
Without these changes, you may notice files or integration data missing from PayGlobal, which may impact the ability to complete your pays.
There are no customer-related actions required for the other services included in the scope of these changes (SSRS, Email, outbound file move services, ESS or PayGlobal).
If you have any questions or suspect you have been impacted by these changes, please contact the MYOB PayGlobal team at payglobalsupport@myob.com.
