ESS - Taking ESS out of Offline Mode
Single Sign On (SSO)
If you place ESS into Offline Mode, and your company uses Single Sign On (SSO), the following process will need to be used to take it out of Offline Mode again:
Navigate to your ESS site
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/BaseForm.aspx?_view=Login.Login)With Offline Mode on, the URL will change to the following:
https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/OfflineMode.aspxChange the end of the URL from OfflineMode.aspx to OfflineLogin.aspx and press Enter:
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/OfflineLogin.aspx)
This will take you to your SSO page.Copy/Paste your ESS Admin site URL into the address box and press Enter
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/BaseForm.aspx?_view=AdminLogin.Login)
This will take you to your ESS Admin login page.Log into your ESS Admin site using your PayGlobal Application username and password
Navigate to General > Offline Mode
Change Site Offline to No
Click Submit
Click Save and Apply
Other Authentication Methods
If you place ESS into Offline Mode, and your company does not use Single Sign On (SSO), the following process will need to be used to take it out of Offline Mode again:
Navigate to your ESS site
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/BaseForm.aspx?_view=Login.Login)With Offline Mode on, the URL will change to the following:
https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/OfflineMode.aspxChange the end of the URL from OfflineMode.aspx to OfflineLogin.aspx and press Enter:
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/OfflineLogin.aspx)
This will take you to your normal login page.Change the end of the URL from =Login.Login to =AdminLogin.Login and press Enter
(eg. https://ess.myobpayglobal.com/CompanyName/BaseForm.aspx?_view=AdminLogin.Login)
This will take you to your normal ESS Admin login page.Log into your ESS Admin site using your PayGlobal Application username and password
Navigate to General > Offline Mode
Change Site Offline to No
Click Submit
Click Save and Apply
