Known issue 8.8: CRM—History Notes cannot be added to CRM if history note editing is disabled

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business versions v8.8 onwards.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

If the profile to control the editing of History Notes is disabled in ExoCFG then users will be unable to add History Notes to Opportunities in the CRM module.

Workaround

The current workaround for this issue is to temporarily enable the profile to edit History Notes.

Attached to Problem ticket 129088648309 for resolution in a future release.
