Known issue 8.5: Stock transaction losing its link to invoice line when invoice edited more than once

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 8.5.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when an invoice is edited more than once the LINE_SEQNO on the STOCK_TRANS table for the reversing entry is picking up the SEQNO from the DR_INVLINES table instead of the DRINVLINEID field. This means the original identification seqno is lost.

This makes linking the stock transaction back to the debtor invoice line impossible.
