Known issue 8.4: Purchase Orders option to create one off items from PO's greyed out

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 8.4.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that the option to create one off stock items in purchase orders is greyed out from version 8.4 onwards. This is due to the addition of a new profile PPPOEEDITING to allow users to edit partly processed orders. The function should be independent of this ability.

The function is dependent on the new profile "Allow new lines to be added on partly processed orders".

Workaround

Switch on profile PPPOEDITING to restore one off function on purchase orders. This will also allow users to edit partly processed orders.

Resolution

Attached to Problem ticket 12124507142 to be resolved in a future release.
