Known issue 8.4: Freight popup on generate credit on DR invoice comes up as positive value

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 8.4.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that the Freight popup on generate credit on DR invoice comes up as positive value, not a negative.
When going to generate a credit where freight has been charged the “Charge Freight” popup shows the freight amount as a positive value rather than a negative value. If you select cancel then the freight value on the credit note is charged rather than reversed.

Workaround

Must either specify a negative on the Charge for Freight popup when doing the credit note, or if forgotten, make a manual correction transaction later.
