Known issue 8.4: Exiting the "EDIT EXISTING TAX RETURN" dialog does not release the Object Lock

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 8.4.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that opening the "EDIT EXISTING TAX RETURN" dialog causes an Object Lock to be created before any Tax Return has actually been chosen. If you then close the screen, the object lock is not removed.

This raises an object lock warning when the user next opens the "EDIT EXISTING TAX RETURN".

Clients will receive an already in use messages.

This issue has been found to exist in multiple versions of EXO. The Object_lock should be removed when user exits the "select tax return" screen.
