Known issue 8.4.1: Sales Orders back order prompt not working when releasing stock

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 8.4.1.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support have confirmed that when you have Physical Stock greater than zero, Sales Orders Quick Supply will allow you to release more physical stock than you have instead of prompting for the stock to go on back order.
Should only occur for those orders where the user does not take the focus off the entered line before choosing Quick Supply and releasing the stock. If the client tabs off the line or takes the focus off the entered order line the back order prompt appears.

Workaround

Take focus off the entered order line.

Resolution

Attached to Problem ticket 12267670325 to be resolved in a future release.
