Known issue 8.3.1: BAS—G11—Import Purchase—Key Point G11a is setup correctly

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business versions 8.3.1 onwards.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that the Non Capital Purchases -IMPORTS Tax Type is set up as a 0% GST rate included at G11 on the BAS but is not being included at G14 when all 0% GST types should be recorded as G11 and G14.

Workaround

To resolve this you can change the 'Tax return key point' from G11A to G11W. This will result in the value still appearing at G11 and at G14.
