Known issue 2017.1: GL—Opening balance total does not display total based on date range selected

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in Exo Business version 2017.1

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

GL account detail screen showing opening balance total based on Period only and not taking into account the date range selected, whereas closing balance shows balance based on date range selected.

Workaround

Only use date range from start to the end of the month.

Resolution

Attached to Problem ticket 148209804515 for resolution in a future release.
