Known issue 2015.4: Error 401 "Unauthorised to access this bank feed"

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business version 2015.4 onwards

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that an error message is coming up during the initial opening of the setup bank feeds screen before the client has any active applications.

this error does not mean that the clients my.MYOB login and BRN do not match. In fact it means that it does match because it is successfully communicating with the bank fee data endpoint in order to receive this error message.

The error will not reappear once the client has a bank feed application in process. Most clients have been ignoring the error and continuing.

Workaround

Ignore the message and continue.

Resolution

Attached to Problem Ticket 123545519004 to be resolved in a future release (anticipated to be resolved in 2016.1)
