KI (All) - Widgets automatic refresh ability not working

The following issue has been identified and subsequently replicated by MYOB Support in EXO Business.

Before upgrading your clients please take into consideration the following issues especially if the site has specific requirements in these areas.

As always we recommend that thorough testing in a non-live environment is undertaken before commencing an upgrade.

Issue

Support has confirmed that when a widget is set to have a refresh frequency the widget will not update when transactions are made throughout the day.

To recreate the issue
  1. Go to ExoConfig - Admin - Dashboards - Setup Widgets - set the Aged receivables widget to refresh every 5 mins.

  2. Open up Analytics; check the current balance of a debtor.

  3. Create an invoice for the debtor and check the current balance is updated on Details 1.

  4. Wait a period of time.

  5. Go back to the Analytics widget and you will note the current balance has not updated.

Workaround

The option to manually refresh widgets is available
