KI (2016-2022.2) Access Violation - unable to open Purchase Order Screen (Resolved)

Issue

Access Violation error prompt when trying to open the Purchase order screen

Cause

Exposing the field “POLineID” as an extra field on the table purchord_lines as any dropdown dialog types

Steps to replicate

ExoConfig > System > Standard tables
Make an extra field for table Purchord_lines
Field name: POLINEID
Dialog type : any “dropdown” options
Save
Open Exonet > Purchases > Create purchase order > Access Violation error prompts.

Workaround

remove the extra field that has pollineid as an extra field on the purchase order lines table.

Resolution

Upgrade to 2022.3.
