Connection Errors - "Provider cannot be found"

There was an error connecting to the database server: Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.


The above error can happen if the required SQL Client wasn't installed for the database. This should be installed automatically if the Client Installer is used, or can be downloaded directly from Microsoft.

This can be resolved by installing SQL Server Native Client from the below link:
