Setting up companies for PTRS
Setting up for PTRS in MYOB Exo Business is as simple as adding your companies to a list. You need to set a company as a reporting entity, which generates and submits PTRS reports on behalf of itself and its consolidated companies.
Consolidated companies can also be foreign entities – e.g. if you have a New Zealand sub-company that purchases from an Australian supplier.
To be able to follow these instructions, you need to have been set up with access to PTRS in MYOB Exo Configurator.
Adding sub-companies to the reporting entity.
Log in to MYOB Exo Configurator as the company that will be the reporting entity.
Click Admin on the main toolbar.
On the left, go to Payment Times Reporting > Setup PTRS Sub Companies.
On the sub-toolbar, click New.
From the Connection name dropdown, select a sub-company. When you select a connection, it also shows the company name.
On the sub-toolbar, click Save.
You can also which companies are consolidated under a reporting entity by going to Company > Company Details and clicking the PTRS Companies to Consolidate tab.

Requiring a sub-company to report under PTRS
Log in to MYOB Exo Configurator as a sub-company.
On the main toolbar, click Company.
On the left, go to Company > Company Details.
At the bottom, select the Required to Report under PTRS checkbox. It will also say which company this sub-company is reporting under.
On the sub-toolbar, click Save.
