OnTheGo/API: Search templates not displaying


The map feature in EXO OnTheGo does not display any search templates.

In the instance either no search templates exist in the database or the company profile for geolocation control is disabled.


To fix the issue
  1. Check if the values are in the SEARCH_TEMPLATES table. If not, you are able to manually copy them or alternatively re-run the DBUpdate for OnTheGo.
  2. If the values are there but they aren't showing in the app then the API is preventing access to them as the company profile GEOLOCATION_CONTROL is turned off (it's default setting) and should be set to either never prompt or always prompt depending on the behaviour you want EXO to exhibit (once the client is running 8.8 or newer).
