MYOB Advanced Workforce Management 8.5 April 2022
We've updated MYOB Advanced Workforce Management to version 8.5, which includes the following improvements and bug fixes.
What's new?
Searching locations
Wherever you select a location in MYOB Advanced Workforce Management, you can now type a location's name to search for it in the list.
Expired Visas Report
The new Expired Visas Report helps keep track of employees' visas status. You can access the report by going to Management > Reporting > Employee > Expired Visas. This report has similar functionality to the existing Expired Documents report, but brings this functionality into a new interface separate to expired licences and training.
This report uses the data found in the Right to work information section of an employee's profile, where Residency status is set to None and an Expiry date has been defined.
You can run this report for specific dates to see which employees have a visa that is expiring by that date.
What's changed?
- If no relevant data has been uploaded, the Annualization report won't be generated. Instead, the Employee and Award fields will be highlighted as being required.
- When using MYOB Advanced Payroll, employee standard hours locations are now synced to the payroll backend.
- We have improved the security around files that are uploaded into the MYOB Advanced Workforce Management system.
- You can now use the new View permission groups option to give you more granular control over permissions. You'll need to add this permission to any custom permission groups that need to onboard employees.
What's fixed?
- Fixed an issue where bulk updating of employee pay rates and other fields would not update values to 0.
- Fixed an issue where multiple long dashboard notifications would overlap.
- (MYOB Advanced Team only) – The Pay rules field is now always visible in the Finance and payroll section of an employee's profile.
