How to give staff the ability to enter their own Timesheets in the mobile app

The default permission groups do not include the privileges required to make your own timesheets in the mobile app below the Managers with Payroll level.

To make the Timesheets tile appear in the Mobile app, you need to set up a custom permission group and make sure it has the following 2 permissions:

  • View Own Time and Attendance in Employee Portal 
    This makes the tile visible in the employee mobile app.

  • Create and Update own Timesheet Entry through the Employee Portal Or Mobile App
    This adds the new timesheet button, and the option to edit timesheets.

The easiest way to do this is to go the Manage Permissions screen, and choose a preset permission set then add the above two privileges to it.
