Checking my leave balances

As an employee, when applying a leave request, you are able to see your leave balance, approved and available balance.

  1. Log in to your employee portal then go to the Leave & Unavailability tab
  2. Click the Submit button, and the Leave Request window will appear:

Select a leave type, and your balances for that type are shown under the Estimated Balances:

  • Forecasted - This is your total leave balance hours (displayed balance depends on the selected Type).
  • Approved - Shows total leave hours already submitted & approved that has not yet been taken.
  • Available - Balance of leave hours after Approved is taken from Forecasted.

Forecasted leave calculates leave based on your current balance plus the balance you will have accrued at the start date of your future leave request.

This balance is an estimate, based on the shift pattern entered for full time and part time employees.
