Handling employee work pattern changes

When an employee’s work pattern changes, you need to update their calendar in two places: on the Employees screen and the Pay Groups screen.

  • If the employee is switching to a new calendar in the Pay Group, the hours will refresh automatically. Check with team if the same pay group can be in pay groups twice to keep the history of the old and the new calendars. Only one default at a time and date effective to keep track of calendar changes.

  • If the employee is on the same calendar but the calendar has been updated, the hours will need to be manually updated.
