Norton 360 troubleshooting

Norton 360 may wrongly identify the Ace Payroll software as a threat and quarantine it. To fix this problem all you need to do is set Ace Payroll as a trusted program by excluding it from scans.

 

To exclude Ace Payroll from Norton 360 scans
  1. Open Norton 360 and click Tasks.

  2. Click Check Security History.

  3. The Security History window opens. Click the drop down menu and click Quarantine, then pay.exe, then More Details.

  4. The File Insight window opens. Click options.

  5. Click Restore.

  6. Tick Exclude this risk from future scans, then click Yes, and close Norton.

    Ace Payroll is now excluded from Norton scans, and will not be quarantined.
